Build Your Confidence Riding Horses Bareback

Our neighbor’s daughter on Karinnah

What a better way to build up your confidence than learning to ride bareback on one of our well trained horses here in Ensenada.

Bareback horseback riding allows you to feel the true movement of the horse. No matter if you are a beginner or an experienced rider, you can benefit from riding a horse bareback.

Riding bareback also allows you to improve your balance, strength, posture, flexibility and confidence. As the horse moves, you are able to feel the muscles move, and this allows for better balance.

Bareback riding engages a level of trust between you and your horse that a saddle cannot teach you.

There are three riding weaknesses you will find when riding bareback: leaning, gripping, grabbing of reins. We will work on all those and a lot more to build up your confidence.

While riding bareback you will learn and practice dismounting, riding at a walk, trot, and learn to focus on your balance, and movement of your body with the horse while building up your confidence at the same time. We will start out with one of our handlers walking you around, and then move onto a lunge line, round pen, and then open field. When  you are ready you can go on a trail ride in Ensenada over looking the bay.

Everyone who is riding bareback will be required to wear a helmet.
